The landscape surrounding the little hamlet of Gavignano is completely quiet and unspoiled making it a perfect setting for a country holiday, ideal for gentle walks and picnics.
The towers of San Gimignano are just visible across the valley.
The surrounding hills are also crammed with picturesque and tiny hill towns and castles like Barberino and Castello di Strozzavolpe.
Podere Oliveta which translates as 'Olivegrove Farm' consists of 5 different apartments which enjoy a pretty location up in the hills.
Each apartment has its own independent entrance and own garden area with barbecue. Much careful thought as gone into decoration, furnishing and ensuring the apartments are equipped down to the last detail and each apartments is named after a different bird local to the region:
Passero,
Falco,
Gufo,
Rondine and
Pettirosso.
There is a swimming pool surrounded by a sun terrace which has stunning views overlooking the rolling olive clad hills, the sprinkling of cypresses trees and the majestic towers of San Gimignano in the distance.
